Very good phone. The titanium frame feels premium and the phone is noticeably lighter than the older stainless steel models. Apple Intelligence features are coming in waves via software updates and I expect the experience to improve over the next few months. The 5× telephoto is my most-used focal length and it’s sharp at optical range.

Upgraded from iPhone 14 Pro. The difference in camera quality and speed is obvious immediately. Action button gives me one-tap access to my voice notes app. Battery life is notably better than the 14 Pro even with the larger, always-on display. USB 3 via USB-C is an underrated practical improvement — transferring 60 GB of ProRes footage to a drive in about 4 minutes instead of half an hour.

The Camera Control button is the feature I didn’t know I needed. Being able to swipe to adjust exposure or zoom while composing a shot without pulling my thumb from the button changes the way I take photos on a phone. Night mode has improved noticeably — shots in a dimly lit bar are actually usable at 100%, not just acceptable at Instagram size.
