The camera system is excellent. Night photography from the main 200MP sensor is stunning. My only complaint is the Space Zoom beyond 30× degrades quickly to an impressionistic blur — useful for identifying something at distance but not for sharing photos. At 5–20× it’s genuinely sharp.

One cable from my MacBook Pro and my entire desk comes to life: two 4K displays, ethernet, external SSD, SD card reader, audio interface, and the laptop charges at 98W. That’s the value proposition and it works exactly as advertised. Build quality is excellent — a solid aluminium chassis that runs warm but never hot.

Sound quality is significantly better than standard AirPods 4. The low end is full and present without being muddy. ANC is competitive with the best over-ear headphones for the frequency range that earbuds can physically isolate. Personalised Spatial Audio with head tracking in Apple Music is a genuinely impressive feature.

I bought this after going through two cheaper USB-C hubs that degraded over time. The TS4 is a different quality tier entirely — Thunderbolt 4 bandwidth is genuinely faster, the ports are solid after a year of daily use, and 98W charging means my MacBook Pro is always at 100% when I pick it up. Buy once, stop thinking about it.

Pure Android with Google’s AI layer on top is a combination that suits me well. The interface is clean, fast, and doesn’t have the bloatware Samsung ships. Call Screen is the feature I didn’t know I was missing — spam calls are handled silently and I get a transcript if something turns out to be legitimate.

The cleanest bedside charging solution I’ve found. iPhone at 15W Qi2, Watch fast charging, and AirPods — all from one USB-C cable. The weighted base is heavy enough that grabbing a device in the dark doesn’t tip the whole thing over, which was a problem with my previous 3-in-1. The fabric arm doesn’t attract dust the way plastic does.

Good headphones overall but I wish the clamping force was adjustable. After two hours wearing them my ears are a bit uncomfortable, which limits their use for long work sessions. The sound and ANC are excellent. If your head is on the smaller side, expect a break-in period.

Very good phone. The titanium frame feels premium and the phone is noticeably lighter than the older stainless steel models. Apple Intelligence features are coming in waves via software updates and I expect the experience to improve over the next few months. The 5× telephoto is my most-used focal length and it’s sharp at optical range.

The Ultramarine colour is genuinely beautiful in person — deeper and richer than photos suggest. A18 Bionic handles everything immediately, photos are noticeably better than my old iPhone 13, and the Camera Control button is a genuine usability improvement for one-handed shooting. Best value iPhone in the lineup.

Excellent laptop with a genuinely differentiated proposition. The 3:2 aspect ratio is noticeably better for productivity than 16:9. Minor notes: the fan can spin up during light browser use occasionally, and the display is 60Hz only. Neither is a dealbreaker but worth knowing before purchase.
